Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) is a global nonprofit organization that aims to improve the health and well-being of children and families by providing support during difficult times.
Founded in 1974, RMHC operates over 300 Ronald McDonald Houses and 50 Ronald McDonald Family Rooms in more than 60 countries and regions around the world.
RMHC’s programs help families with sick children stay close to each other and to the medical care they need, alleviating some of the financial, emotional, and logistical burdens during a child’s medical treatment.
As one of the largest medical hubs in the country, Los Angeles is home to world-class hospitals that treat children from across the country and internationally. Many families must travel far from home for specialized care, and RMHC provides them with the necessary housing, support, and resources during their stay in the city.
Hope Always Foundation gifts digital tablets to children's hospitals and health care centers for Warriors—pediatric patients and their families facing difficult health care journeys.
