The Board: Chicago is a one-hour weekly show that merges entertainment with local impact!
Four local philanthropic leaders, "Board Members", each contribute $15,000 of their own money to form a $60,000 giving pool to support four area nonprofit organizations.
Each nonprofit presents its mission in a televised pitch setting in front of our panel of Board Members, who evaluate strength, impact and need before making funding decisions.
The structure is designed to balance competition with shared community benefit, ensuring every participating organization receives meaningful support and exposure.

4 Board Members personally donate $15,000 to the pool with ties to the community through business, sports and philanthropy.
Each Board Member brings a unique voice and perspective to the table, united by a shared passion for making a meaningful difference in Chicago.

The 4 nonprofits featured on The Board showcase unique missions, each addressing vital community needs.
Their work reflects the diversity of challenges facing each city and the creative solutions these charities bring to drive real, lasting impact.
